Signature resizer: resize your signature in KB and pixels
Take a photo of your signature on white paper and get a clean JPG in the size your form asks for: 10–20 KB at 140×60 px, the OCI 3:1 shape or your own pixels and KB. Free, on your phone, with nothing uploaded.
Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, then take the photo in daylight so the paper fills most of it.

What the signature resizer does
- Finds your signature in the photo and crops closely around it.
- Turns the paper clean white and makes the ink darker and crisper, without redrawing the strokes.
- Resizes to 140×60 px at 10–20 KB, the OCI card size, or any width, height and KB range you enter, such as 300×80 px.
- Saves a JPEG inside your KB limit, and reaches a KB minimum when the form sets one.
- Works from a phone photo or a scan: no scanner needed, and your signature never leaves your device.
How to resize a signature to 10–20 KB
-
Photograph your signature
Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper and take the photo in daylight. A scan works too.
-
Pick the size
Choose 140×60 px · 10–20 KB, the OCI preset, or Custom to enter the pixels and KB your form asks for.
-
Download the JPG
We crop to the signature, whiten the paper and save a JPEG inside the KB limit, ready to upload.
OCI signature size
The OCI portal asks for a JPEG of up to 200 KB, three times as wide as it is tall (height to width 1:3), between 200×67 and 900×300 pixels, legible on a plain white background. Our OCI preset makes it 600×200 px.
Does your form also need a photo?
Most applications that ask for a signature also ask for a passport-style photo. The Ovalight Studio guides your phone camera to the right shot, crops it to the exact size for your document and checks it against the published rules.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize my signature to 10–20 KB?
Choose a photo of your signature and tap "140×60 px · 10–20 KB". We crop to the signature, centre it on white and save a JPEG between 10 and 20 KB. If a file this small would be under 10 KB even at the best quality, we pad it with blank data; the picture does not change.
What size in pixels is a 10–20 KB signature?
KB and pixels are separate limits, so follow your form. Many forms ask for about 140×60 px at 10–20 KB, which is our common preset. If yours gives other pixels, choose Custom and enter them.
Can I resize my signature to 300×80 px or another size?
Yes. Choose Custom and enter the width and height in pixels and the KB range from your form. The signature is cropped to that shape and kept centred on white.
What size should the OCI signature be?
A JPEG of up to 200 KB, three times as wide as it is tall, between 200×67 and 900×300 pixels, on a plain white background. The OCI preset makes it 600×200 px.
How do I get my signature on a white background?
Sign on plain white paper and leave "Clean white background" on: we turn the paper and its shadows white and keep the ink. The result is a JPEG with a white background, not a transparent PNG.
Does cleaning change my signature?
No. It turns the paper white and makes the ink darker and crisper. The strokes themselves are not redrawn or smoothed.
Is my signature uploaded?
No. Processed on your device. Never uploaded to our servers. The whole clean-up runs in your browser, on your phone or computer.
